![]() you think they don’t know?Įngagement is engagement and you need to stop falling for it. Example: Loren’s Muslim representation post, Leenas dress etc. It’s clear they’re starting debates in comments on purpose too. people seem to be noticing, engagement going down until someone gets pregnant, mentions marriage, or posts fake drama to amp the comments and likes back up Like it’s just acting… always positive and happy but it’s not real…. It’s so obvious they’re trying to build ‘parasocial’ relationships like Alix Earle but what it ends up feeling is inauthentic It's an indicator of someone's own insecurities, immaturity and negativity. Picking on someone for something they literally can't change is a new low, even for a gossip site. I couldn't care less if you think the dress is ugly. Maybe it’s cuz you’re mad cuz bought the ugly dress. Why are you here if you’re so sensitive and quick to jump to conclusions? Did you know that? Lmao I guess we all need inner healing, including you. News flash, gossiping is not a noble activity. This has nothing to do with her being pregnant. Even on a gossip forum I was shocked to read such a vile comment. You come off as full of hate and bad vibes. I'm not sure why you think its okay to body shame her. I too thought it was too out there with it's weird hip design but the color and fabric is beautiful and the midsection is not that bad. It's not red, more like a deep pink and perfect for Vday or other occasions. I have this dress and it's actually such a beautiful color. ![]() I think she’s showing her legs to create a certain look - maybe cuz she knows deep down the dress is tacky and won’t sell on its own and might look better with some skin showing. And a design you ripped off from another “modest” brand. I wish more of her followers would call her out on this behavior. The child is trying to have a moment to gather her feelings and they are sticking a camera in her face begging her to smile. I just watched the segment you're talking about. FWIW, any comments I make or have made about Alaina's behavior are directed solely at her parents, not her. If your ego requires you to have a career promoting yourself on social media, go for it, but leave your innocent kids out of it. They are using her to gain views and money/contracts, which is just beyond distasteful. I've said before, I wish there were laws against posting young children on social media. I wish Alaina was not shown on leenas social media at all. Is Alaina getting paid for all her appearances in income generating content? Has Leena considered the ethical implications of showcasing her daughter in vulnerable situations especially when it’s becoming more documented that adult men engage with child influencer content online? reminded me why I deeply dislike family influencers in general. I think a lot of comments made here about Alaina can be unnecessarily critical and vicious, but Leena’s latest story about Alaina’s mid-photoshop tantrum just. Now I find myself looking at other vendors hoping they have something similar! The pics for the pink/red were definitely off and the design itself I was doubting. It was not on my first choice and I almost didn't get it, but it's proven to be nicer than the orange one which is impossible to match to and not as flattering fit wise. I'm honestly happy for you and the other people who purchased it that it's decent quality, because to me it doesn't look great in the photos. Her second launch with ivycity looks underwhelming though and I'm not nearly as excited.Īlso, I agree that it's okay to maybe critique some hijab expectations we have and how showing ankles is not okay according to most conservative opinions. I'm really proud of her first Amazon launch. There's honestly nothing like this on the market that I've seen that is so gorgeously well made and looks so luxurious in the price that she offered for it. I'm not sure the fabric content but if I had to guess it'd be a mix of polyester and satin. It looks like satin but doesn't have that feel, it's more comfortable than satin imo. The feel and look of the fabric is what makes me so happy. That being said I think it would survive a delicates cycle if I absolutely had to wash it. I'm not sure but I wouldn't risk throwing it in the wash, I will probably dry clean it. ![]() The dress is so absolutely stunning and gorgeous. ![]() What is the fabric content? Are the seams finished inside? Is it dry clean only? Do you think it will last past one season of wear? You don't have to answer, but I'm curious about the overall quality and what the construction is like. ![]()
